Hello,
I received my order within a week. Everything was what I expected. A good supplier to deal with.

The price alone is enough for me to give it zero stars-$2.28 a pound? I buy it locally for 1.25 a lb and I consider that a rip off.

This is a great product. Our feeder sits over a sidewalk, so having waste shells would be a nuisance. With hearts and chips, everything gets consumed and our sidewalk stays clean.

3Not so sure it was a good ideaJun 12, 2009
I purchased 2 40 lb bags of the sunflower hearts and chips for my three bird feeders. I usually use sunflower seeds in the shell, and the birds have done fine with them, but I do end up with a lot of husks in the yard. With the hearts and chips, I have observed the birds wasting the seed - dropping it on the ground for the greedy squirrels.

I have two nests of cardinals that have just fledged, and the babys are enjoying the hearts and chips. I hope they don't get too used to the easy living.
