When a squirrel steps on the perch, a connection is made with a motor that makes the perch spin, and the squirrel is flipped off the feeder. The unit comes equipped with a rechargeable nickel-cadmium power stick battery and a battery charger that plugs into standard 120 volt wall outlets. Sturdy stainless steel wire hanger will not rust. 21" long tubular feeder with 5 lb seed capacity. Metal cap fits snugly so that squirrels cannot pry it off. 4-1/2" diameter seed tube is made of UV stabilized polycarbonate for durability. Tube is long enough so that squirrels can't hang down from the top and reach seed. Interior is properly baffled to direct seed to the seed ports. Four seed ports are positioned around the tube. Metal parts have a forest green finish. | | | Features: | |

Yankee Flipper Bird FeederAug 30, 2010
This product does what it says. I have many, many squirrels in
my yard and the Yankee Flipper hangs on a 350+ year old oak tree
inhabited by many of these furry creatures. None have been able
to feed but many have tried. I purchased this particular one for a friend.
Droll Yankee feederAug 15, 2010 The product was good for the first twelve months. Once the squirrels (specially the new litter of squirrels) learn that by holding and turning on the wheel food falls to the ground. It's impossible to keep the feeder full.
Yankee Flipper throws off the squirrelsJul 14, 2010 This is the second Yankee Flipper we have purchased. We had our first feeder for many years. It is so much fun watching the squirrels try to get to the feed. When they do get on the Flipper, they fly around and around. We love this product and would recommend it to anyone who is having problems with squirrels eating all the feed in their bird feeders.
Tons of FunJul 09, 2010 We have enjoyed watching the squirrels trying to get to the seeds inside the cylinder. Those which have failed
show respect for the Yankee Flipper but still keep trying. One result is that the birds flock to the Flipper far more than
they do to the other feeder. A big benefit is that we aren't using up seed intended for the birds as fast as before.
You have a great product.
I have really enjoyed watching the squirrels try to get to the foodJun 24, 2010 The squirrels have tried and tried to get to the food. They just get thrown off. I have had this feeder for a few weeks and so far the squirrels have not
been able to eat the seed. I am so glad I purchased this item. The BIRDS love it, especially the Cardinals.
