A little flimsy, but niceJul 20, 2010
The product is very similar to what it pictured, but the metal is very thin and some of the connecting parts are plastic and the spike at the bottom comes off easily, so I am going to try to super glue it to see if that helps. Having said that, it is very attractive for such a light-weight bird-bath and I love the fact that I can convert it if I need to. I think I could even use the 3 "branches" that hold it if it is in the ground for decorative stakes if I decide to hang it.

Looks nice and is fine. The only thing I don't like is that you have to either uncrew the pan or pull up the stake to clean it and they recommend doing that often. Not very convenient. The birds seem happy with it--the best judge I guess.

This item is what I expected. It isn't very deep so you have to fill it everyday. It would be better for seeds. It looks nice and I have it close to a tree and a pole with a bird house on it.Avant Garden 8160-3 Hanging-Standing Birdbath I put it in the ground since my trees are new and not big yet. I think it is over priced though.

This is a cute birdbath but must be filled daily. After about 6 months, the bowl of the birdbath turned black and then white and now continuously peels. Not sure it is safe for the birds anymore so am throwing out.

I was very pleased with this purchase. It went together easily and looks just like the picture. It's not a heavy piece but you wouldn't know by looking at it.
