Great feederSep 12, 2009 Well designed with molded flower ports that are easy to clean. Small capacity means no more discarding old syrup; the hummingbirds prefer these feeders to the larger capacity models. As the hummingbirds are fiercely territorial it is better to provide multiple feeders of this size.

works great!Jun 28, 2009 We live in central Connecticut. We just filled it up with sugar water, put it out next to a pink hanging plant, and, voila, hummingbirds! This one really does work - easy, not too messy.

Best little hummingbird feedersJun 08, 2009 These are terrific. I bought two. They are easy to fill and clean, the built-in ant moat is helpful, and the hummingbirds like them. We have more hummingbird visitors now than before. The tiny birds can sit down and take a much needed rest while they sip the nectar. They look relieved to take a little break. These feeders are small, which is great because they are easy to handle. For good hygiene, you must change the sugar water every few days anyway, and small feeders mean less discarded sugar water at feeder-cleaning time.

Withstands the test of timeMay 02, 2009 If you get what you pay for, the Aspects hummingbird feeder is first rate--most durable bird feeder that I have ever purchased. I've had it for 3 seasons going into the fourth and it shows no signs of breaking or discoloring--even the perch is in great shape. It is NOT plastic, but styrene, a more durable material. At 8 oz. it's a perfect size as I mix 16 oz of nectar and I have two feeders. I typically get 3 - 4 hummingbirds at a time buzzing back and forth from their nests in the woods. The larger feeders may not empty soon enough before the contents need replacing unless you have lots of hummers all day long. Bees can sometimes be a problem in mid-summer. Cleaning the feeder is very easy and changing the nectar once a week seems to deter bees and wasps. BTW, the recipe for homemade nectar is inside the lid--no need to buy expensive shelf products. It's nice to have a bird feeder that lasts!

outstanding Mini HummerDec 01, 2008 This feeder is the best one could imagine. It resists wind sway, no drips, no ants, no bees! I find it just the right size because our regular Hummer wont share anyway -- he zooms at any other hummer who dares approach, then returns so self-confidently that he simply perches while sipping, not hovering!
